its finally colling off!

its cold outside right now! i went to pick preston up from youth group and almost grabbed a sweatshirt! today was so beautiful, i think we will actually be wearing pants soon, im ready to break out the ruffles i have stashed away for payton and my boys have 2 giant sized bins in the garage stuffed with winter clothes, its great the boys can pass stuff down to each other! i have a gap sweatshirt i bought kyler when he was around 7 or so and this year (7 years and 2 kids later) collyn will be able to wear it, the great thing is it looks like new still, even after a gazillion washings. so i guess i got my moneys worth out of that sweater along with so many other pieces of clothing i have been able to save and pass down. i guess sometimes it pays off just a little to be clothing obsessed, yes i admit i am and i dont care who knows it! speaking of clothing.......my awesome trading assistant is selling off paytons 09 fall/winter stash everytime i go back something else has sold, im like dang what a great job she did with those auctions! anyway back to reality....i have pneumonia and im feeling pretty crappy, but the dr. i have is so nice and she gave me some great stuff to take tonight! ohhh yeah!

preschool girl

payton started preschool today! she seemed to have alot of fun and made some friends already! i cant believe my baby is in preschool! she looked so cute today in her matilda jane phoney knot top, gap capri's and pink chucks! i put her hair in little braids and they looked so sweet! i am so glad she is going to preschool i think she will have so much fun this year, i also plan to voulenteer a lot so i wont miss her so much.

im failing to blog the most important moments of life

i should make this a bigger priority but with 5 kids im spread so thin and it seems like im constantly busy. i recently watched a movie called motherhood and it was so hilarious and i was able to relate w/ it completly. anyway payton and i were swimming yesterday and i was swimming toward her pretending to be a shark and she was screaming and laughing but she got a little overwhelmed and said wait mom, pause, so everytime she wanted to stop she said pause which i thought was really cute, where did that come from anyway?

Happy Birthday Payton Grace!!

happy birthday to my sweet 4 year old girl! i cant believe she is 4 already! it makes me so sad because im not ready for her to grow up, i know too well how fast it goes, and no matter how much i want her to stay little it isnt going to happen, so all i can do is enjoy her to the fullest! i think im going to die when she goes to kindy next year, ill be the mom hanging on the fence crying while she runs to play with her friends not even noticing im there, ill be waving frantically yelling bye honey and she wont hear me, ill be trying to get her attention and she'll be laughing running and having a great time with her new friends, yes im one of those moms!

its been awhile!

its been quite awhile since ive blogged here, and im feeling kind of bad for not even taking pics on easter or mothers day and posting here, i just get so lazy about the holiday thing, or maybe im just burnt out? speaking of being burnt out little miss is supposed to be in bed and shes rubbing her eyes saying i need a glass of water, sure you do, you always need water when its bedtime! she knows how to con me everytime! i hope she goes to sleep soon because i want to get up early and take her to the park tomorrow, the weather has been warm and i have finally packed up all her winter clothing, it took me a week to remove all stains and get everything ironed out and folded into neat little stacks seperated by lines, this time im sending it to a trading assistant, i dont think i have it in me to list that much this time around, so im gonna give this a shot! i sure hope she makes more money than i do on my stuff! so on another note......... i need to save my money for some of the newest janie and jack line ohhhhhhhhhh its cute!! i just love the oranges, and the patchwork, i gotta get me some of that! i mean i need some for payton of corse!!!

lazy days

today was one of those days. the sun was shining, the birds were chirping and i sat in the sun while payton ran around squealing, she was fully enjoying the weather too. armed with sidewalk chalk, bubbles and bouncy balls we spent most of the day playing outside. i heard the doorbell ring, so i ran to the door thinking i got my package with my new dresses and payton kept asking if it was for her? no its for mommy! she seemed truly dissapointed the package wasnt for her, but when i opened it up to my supprise it was popsicles!! she squealed seeing it was for her, and im thinking man i wanted my stuff!! anyway so we immedietly tried on a swimsuit which she decided she was going to wear right now! i decided to go ahead and let her since it was hot enough, i got out the sunblock but i think her little cheeks got a slightly sunburnt anyway! she was happy enough sitting in the dirt singing with her new popsicle swimsuit on. life is good.

today it was 70 degrees out and it was so nice! i had an appointment in the morning then we played at mc donalds for awhile, afterwards we went and did a little grocery shopping, payton looks forward to the free sprinkle cookies. this is not the outfit payters wore today but i wanted to post it because she is so cute in this!! anyway no real great stuff to post about, it was a pretty average day, im hoping to get the kids down early so i can have some quiet time, im having a major headache today! UGH! ive actually had it since the grocery store!! daddy is reading books to the kids tonite thank god!!

happy chocolate day!!

happy valentines day!! you would think i would have dressed up payton in a cute little valentine outfit and taken pics, but i honestly havent had the time to think about holidays, they seem to creep up on me then all of a sudden i seem to be totally unprepared. i did go to tarjay yesterday and get the stuff for valentine cupcakes and chocolates for the kids but i felt guilty that i did it at the last minute and i hadnt planned anything else, oh well theres easter, i guess i better start planning now so i can be fully prepared ;) at least the box of chocolates were perfect for payton, i had to snap a pic so i could at least remember this day and how payton had her chocolates for breakfast and sampeled each one supprised at how there was a different center inside each one! amazing, how did they do that?!! taste this one mommy its yummy! i guess i shouldnt feel too guilty, especially since her valentines day was a happy chocolate day!

the blog that was neglected..

i havent blogged in over a week and i didnt want to get so far behind because i am constantly keeping a mental catalog of things i want to put here, so if i dont do it every couple days i feel behind! i know im ocd, its ok its the way i roll. anyway first off payton seemed calm and happy the morning she came out with her panda backpack on and announced, "i have a gun in my backpack, and im going to shoot the boy that spit in collyn's eye" i know what you are thinking, but seriously it was a nerf gun! i had to explain that just because someone makes you mad you cant go around shooting people! she said ok mom. im sure this isnt a sign of a future problem, i mean really she just wants to protect her big brother! speaking of future problems though i think shopping at costco with mom and dad is out from now on. we had a hard time shopping whith her this time! she didnt want to sit in the basket, cried a few times, wanted to hold daddy's hand, didnt wanna walk, wanted to walk, it was kind of exhausting! i guess from now on she stays at home with big brother and big sissy!

we have been enjoying the park alot this week with our beautiful weather! we even had a picnic on sunday we had kyler this weekend so it was nice! payton loves the park, she loves her bubbles and her tricycle, i think we need a new trike though since the wheel lost the tread and now its just a piece of plastic rolling her around. i found a great pink trike just for payton on amazon, so hopefully soon i will be ordering that! speaking of ordering i need to order some shoes, i just sold almost every pair of shoes payton owns, mainly because she has outgrown all of them, and yeah they are all the same size! im having a really hard time deciding what to get, i for sure want some red, white and pink coco jumbo's, and i have some morgan and milo tennies in my cart except they are brown and im thinking are they even gonna match anything?! maybe i should just stick with good old converse? i dunno my heart is set on the m&m's! anyway is a major desicion choosing the shoes my 3 year old will galavant around in. i know i have some issues!! shoes are important though...right??

miss sassy pants

we got a few things in the mail today so i decided to have payton try them on and her very sassy personality came oozing out, there were so many hand on hip, side mouth position poses it was hard to pick a favorite, i think this tounge sticking out is one is pretty funny so i chose to post it. i love having a 3 year old, i cant even imagine my life with out this beautiful, full of life little girl. every single day is filled with so much joy!! i wish she could stay 3 forever, my stephanie will be 18 soon and cant wait to move out on her own! time goes by so quickly you have to enjoy every moment, from our cuddles on the couch while i have my coffee every morning, to playing at the park, peanut butter and marshmallow sandwiches on the porch and reading books at night, when i say i thank god every single day for my kids i mean it! there are women on this earth who cant have children and for some reason i was blessed with 5 precious gifts. payton is the light of my life, the apple of my eye as are all my children im especially enjoying these last years before she goes off to school. before you know it she will be getting her lisence and talking about college, i hope that time goes by very slowly so i can savor those precious moments♥

whoever thought a little girl could love dirt and mud so much? payton is definatly a tomboy! she loves soccer, baseball, and she uses her plastic bat to hit her soccer ball and says mommy come play socca ball with me! when i hit the ball she yells goallllllllllllllll! im so ready for summer because id want to get the kids out of the house and off the video games! last night i caught payton sitting on the top bunk last night playing the DSI i said what are you doing? she said "oh just playing a game" yep she needs to get out and play! fred suggested we get waterpark passes this year again, but do i really want to drive to palm springs 4x a week and bake in 120 degree weather? the thought scares me, even though we have done it 2 summers in a row, i guess we'll see!!

its a nice sunny day!

when payton wakes me up she says, mommy its a nice sunny day! it could be raining out and to her its a nice sunny day, because she wants to go outside, well today it really was a nice sunny day! it must have been mid 70's because i took my sweater off and went into the shade. i had my parents mag, boden catalogue, and a hanna anderson one to read while she played. we didnt stay long because she got thirsty so i said lets go get a slurpee! she was really excited about getting a slurpee, i dont know why shes never had one before!! funny because she said she wanted blue and they just happen to have blue. i took a little sip to taste the flavor and i cant believe how sugary it was! i guess i forgot why i loved them as a kid. i sure hope the weather is as beautiful tomorrow, i think we we go again tomorrow♥

big girl bed!!

payton is so happy to have a big girl bed now, we took the crib down last weekend and it was kind of bittersweet, my baby is no longer a baby, she is a big girl now! we had to get her the dora comforter so she would agree to sleep in her bed, so far three nights in a row she has! last night was the first night she didnt come into my bed in the middle of the night! this could be good!! daddy and i took her to breakfast this morning and payton happily chatted away with the woman that sat across from us, she said my name is payton and pointed to fred and said and this is my friend daddy, and my friend mommy, i had to laugh because it was so cute!

i have to get on ebay and buy a usb cable for my camera if i want to upload pics because the memory card dosent fit into the usb port even with the adapter, so who knows how long thats gonna take! anyway i got pics of payton hugging her crib we took down last nite, goodbye crib, hello big girl bed!! im hoping she will actually sleep in this new bed, one can only hope. we went to walmart yesterday and got her play makeup because apparently she needed some! she put alot on her face and asked if she looked pretty, i told her yes you look lovely! i didnt realize she would start asking for makeup at such a young age, what a diva!!

christmas is over!

im sort of relieved christmas is over, but a little sad too. i love all the cooking, having friends and family over and the lights, the music, all of it except the stress of buying gifts for 5 kids. well i pulled it off thankfully! miss payton got a little people dnace and twirl castle she LOVES little people! she has about 20 of them and she will dump her entire toy box out to find them all, she sits there and will actually throw toys over her shoulder i almost got hit by a bouncy ball tonite! jeez! she can be so agressive sometimes! she reminds me so much of my older daughter, so bossy and independent. she told her dad tonite, dad get me chocolate milk! i said that is not how we ask for something, we say may i please have chocolate milk? notice how when we become a mother we refer to ourselves in the third person? mommy dosent want you to say that, uh ok then im an official weirdo.
